HoneyBook job cuts: the small-business software maker is laying off 14% of staff to align its structure with the AI era

Israel Software Development HoneyBook
HoneyBook is laying off about 14% of its 255 staff, 30 to 35 jobs, mostly in Israel, in a reorganization it says aligns the company with the AI era. The company described the job cuts to Calcalist, which published the story on 8 October 2026, as a "reorganization process aimed at aligning our structure and workflows with the AI era, while integrating AI into our product and value proposition for customers." HoneyBook said the move is "driven by financial strength and strategic focus", with the goal of becoming a faster, more agile organization, and it is offering favorable severance and has extended the validity of departing employees' stock options. Calcalist estimates the company holds hundreds of millions of dollars in cash reserves, so these are not survival cuts. HoneyBook does not say AI is doing the work of the people leaving: the AI link is a restructuring toward AI and an AI-heavy product, which is why this is a dispatch and not a counted event in the AI layoffs tracker on this site. The headcount and cut ratio come from Calcalist, not from a company filing.

Extending stock options is a useful detail. Hope departing staff also get enough time and clear information to decide what to do with them.
