Terms of Service

Effective 5 September 2026 · Contact: hello@aiimpacted.org

AIimpacted ("the site", "we") is a community documenting the negative impacts of artificial intelligence - job losses above all - worldwide. By using the site you agree to these terms.

1. The service

AIimpacted is a community record of job losses attributed to artificial intelligence. Members post sourced news and firsthand accounts, vote, and discuss under pseudonyms. Content and data on the site are provided for general information and are not professional, legal, financial, or career advice.

2. Accounts

3. Your content

You own what you post. By posting, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute your content as part of operating the site - including in feeds, search results, and syndication such as RSS. You are responsible for what you post and confirm you have the right to post it.

4. Conduct

The Rules are part of these terms: stay on topic, source your claims, no fabrication, no harassment or doxxing. In addition, you may not use the site for anything unlawful, post malware or spam, or disrupt the service (for example by abusive automated posting).

5. Moderation

We may remove content, suspend, or ban accounts that break these terms or the Rules, at our discretion. Removed content shows as [removed]; the surrounding thread stays.

6. Third-party content and sources

News posts summarize and link to external sources. We write our own headlines and summaries and link the original reporting; the external sites are not ours and we are not responsible for their content.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We work to keep the data sourced and accurate but do not guarantee completeness or accuracy. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us to use it (the site is free).

8. Termination

You can stop using the site or ask us to delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end the service, or your access to it, where these terms are broken or where required to protect the site and its members.

9. Changes

If these terms change, we update this page and its effective date. Material changes will be noted on the site; continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
