Artlist, the Israeli stock-music and creative-tools company, said on 16 June 2026 that it had "decided to embark on a strategic reorganization and transition to an AI-native operating model" and had "initiated a review of approximately 200 roles", with affected employees invited to hearings as Israeli law requires. Co-founder and co-chief executive Ira Belsky did not soften it in an interview with Calcalist: "Our competitors are AI-native, and they have 120 employees, while we have five times more. We are pushing AI deeply into the company. When you remove entire work chains, nothing changes. AI makes certain roles redundant, and you can't compete with companies that were created by AI." He added: "Everything now happens in a very short time, without the need for huge teams." The company says it is acting from a position of financial strength. That is what makes the case useful: Artlist is growing, and still says it needs far fewer people than it has.
